Gabriella is a strong professional with an Associate of Science in Engineering, Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and a junior-level education in engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is currently studying journalism at the University of Texas at Austin. Gabriella plans to bridge her engineering experience with her writing, communication and design skills in her career.
Writing, Editing & Communication
As an experienced writer and editor, she is skilled in writing and editing SEO web content, articles, press releases, proposals, blogs, copywriting and more. She is excellent at capturing brand and style for businesses while ensuring their content is effective and accurate. She also has experience in journalistic writing and is knowledgeable in various forms of news writing. She knows journalism ethics, how to interview sources and how to write clean, informed pieces in AP Style.
Computer-Aided Design
With seven years of experience in computer-aided design, specifically in Civil Engineering, Gabriella is experienced with MicroStation, OpenRoads, GEOPak, Bluebeam, Adobe, Excel, Microsoft Teams and various TxDOT practices and standards. She has worked on many projects, including roadway design, roadway improvements, traffic and TCP projects, utility work, sidewalks, trails, highways, sewers, water systems and more. She has a strong understanding of the engineering principles that go into designing successful projects.
Gabriella's diverse work experience has enabled her to cultivate the ability to think critically and creatively in order to solve complex problems. She is an excellent communicator and thrives on collaboration, which makes her an asset in any team setting. She is driven to succeed and dedicated to producing high-quality work.
